Feast Of Tabernacles 2009
Greetings Brethren,
Our loving Father has again poured out His blessing this year allowing us to secure a place for our brethren in E. Africa to keep the feast of Tabernacles. We were able to contract “Word of Life, Kenya” in Ukunda, Kenya, (Just outside the city of Mombassa.) Word of Life is a large compound consisting of an Orphanage, School, Youth Center, and also has a conference center with lodging on premises. It is located directly on the shores of the Indian Ocean, in a beautiful tropical setting.
We will be meeting each day for services. Waema James Mutulu, William P Goff, and a number of God’s overseers from both Kenya and Tanzania will be giving messages. We invite our Brethren from abroad to join us there for this years feast. If you would like to join us, please plan your trip to fly into “Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Int'l Airport” Nairobi, Kenya.
As many of you know, our brethren in E. Africa are “Rich in Faith” but reside among the poor of this world when it comes to physical material wealth. Unemployment in Kenya alones is 90%. In order for our brethren to gather together, and to keep this upcoming feast, it will take the love and support from some of our wealthier brethren from around the world.
The favorable rate that the establishment has given us, includes not only the lodging and meeting hall, but also includes the cooks that will be preparing all of the meals. But it will be our responsibility to supply the food and also some bedding for the brethren. This actually turns out to be a blessing because our plan is to purchase sheets & blankets for all those in attendance, which they can take home after the feast.
Transportation to and from the feast sight will also have to be paid for in order for our brethren to attend. I do hope that a number of you reading this will me moved in your heart to pitch in and help. This is a perfect opportunity for us to show our faith by our works Jms. 2:18.
What a fantastic opportunity our Creator has given us, to be able to assist some of our brethren who have been living their lives impoverished due to this world partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and following the ways of Satan the adversary. Greed Abounds on planet earth brethren, its here in every way, shape and form. What better way to separate ourselves from that hideous condition of greed, than to be a blessed giver and help our brethren that are in need Acts 20:35. The theme for this years feast will be “Unity” Living together in unity, both now and forever.
As some of you know, the Creator Himself has directed our work in Kenya. He has allowed us to move forward by involving some true brethren from around the world to join together in unity. We have a very good network set up; where we have been busy feeding the flock of God with the very important message that is vital to every member of the church of God throughout the world:
Prepare Ye the Way of The Lord, make straight in the desert, a highway for out God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it Isa 40.
Elijah must come first brethren, he has come in the past and he is here again now. The message that John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, was a message of repentance. It was preached by John to prepare the way for our Lord’s first coming, when He came to this earth in the flesh of a mere man to die in our stead. And now the spirit of Elijah is preaching that same message of repentance again loud and clear through all of God’s little flock all around this world, preparing a people (His people) for our Lord’s second coming, when He will be returning to this earth in power and glory. Remember the physical always comes first, and then the spiritual follows 1Cor.15:46
The message of repentance hasn’t changed brethren; it is us that need to change. We need to get the sin out of our lives. We need to change from following that broad and wide path that leads to death, and follow the straight and narrow path that leads to eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Soon all Nations shall be gathered together before our Lord and Savior as He separates the sheep from the goats, allowing the sheep to pass through and enter into the Kingdom, but refusing entrance to the goats Mat. 25:31-46.
Our God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. The Father seeketh such to worship Him. That hour cometh brethren, and now is Jn 4:24. Truth is of utmost importance to us brethren. Those called of God, who receive not the love of the truth, (because they refuse truth) shall be given strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. Those brethren will be dammed along with the rest of humanity who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness 2 Ths. 2:1-12 The “man of sin” the “son of perdition” who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, is alive and well brethren, and not only “sitteth in the Temple of God” (which is the church of God) but is soon to be revealed.
Brethren, when the disciples asked our Lord privately “When shall these things be, and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age?” The very first thing that He told them was “Take heed that no man deceive you, For many (men) shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many” Mat 24:3.
Brethren, are you amongst the ones who have been taking heed? Or are you amongst the ones who have been being deceived? Jer.17:5-8. Many of the pulpits of the “churches” of God are still preaching & teaching a combination of fables, false doctrines and even lies. Many even still teach that the leaven in the “wave loaves” Lev. 23:17 represents sin, and that sin is what the wave loaves (first fruits) will be baked with. Brethren, nothing could be further from the truth!
The baking of the wave loaves represents a finished product. There will be NO sin in the Kingdom of God 1Cor.6:9 Gal. 5:21. If we retain that sinful nature that we have been born with, we will not be in the Kingdom of God Ezek.18:4, 20. Rom. 6:23. The leaven that the wave loaves are baked with is the spirit of God Mat 13:33. His powerful spirit is the only ingredient strong enough to change our sinful natures. That spirit needs to not only be “received” or “taken” at baptism and hands, but needs to be used, needs to be flowing, needs to be incorporated into our lives until the entire body of first fruits (pictured by the wave loaf) is leavened with it (changing our nature) and then baked. Once baked, one’s nature is permanent and cannot be changed, representing a finished product, a spiritual eternal members of the Kingdom of God.
Seek God brethren, while He may still be found Isa. 55:6. We are approaching the time when many will seek Him, but not find Him Mt.25:8. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? Those of darkness will be taken by surprise at the return of our Lord and Savior, but not those of light 1 Ths. 5:4.
Brethren, we are rapidly approaching the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus The Christ. Let us not be found with our vessels void of oil when that “Midnight Cry” is soon sounded Mt.25:6. The Scriptures are opening up to the spirit filled members of the body of Christ brethren. Christ’s words that He spoke to His disciples on that last night that He was with them before He was taken, concerning His disciples being led into ALL truth is now coming to pass Jn 16:12-15. Do you want to be part of those who are being enlightened? You can, it’s just a simple matter of being a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only Ps.111:10. Rom. 2:13.
We invite you to join us for this year’s feast of Tabernacles on the beautiful shores of the Indian Ocean there in Mombassa, Kenya. If you cannot attend with us, then we pray that you will have a very spiritual feast where every you may be. We also hope to offer the message that will be given at this years feast on audiocassette and CD, upon our return.
